A Keen Pairing: Helix and Keen Home Together Make For A Smart Summer Time Solution

Welcome to our weekly home automation product coverage—features that get you in-the-know on the latest connected home technology in less than two minutes.

The Helix Platform provides security and smart home automation . Usually used for safety and security, it provides energy efficiencies and comfort as well in its ability to control many aspects of the home through a smartphone.

We thought mid-summer would be the perfect time to introduce you to Keen Home. Keen home is a member of the Thread Group—as is Resolution Products. The Thread Group is a collective of companies in the automation and smart device space dedicated to the advancement of the field.

Keen Home, a smart vent that brings even more efficiency to your energy consumption, was also featured on Shark Tank.

As you can see from the video, the smart vent better regulates air flow throughout the home, so that no room is too hot or too cold—creating balanced temperature throughout. The founders designed the vents so they retrofit into any existing floor, wall, or ceiling vent space, and the vents communicate with one another wirelessly to deliver a comfortable, whole-home experience.

One of the great features of Keen Home is that it connects with the leading smart home platforms, Helix included.

Keen Home can make today’s homes comfortable from the front door to the back door, and basement to attic.
